A Stitch In Preschool Time

 

As part of the company going green initative we planted a variety of different trees in the front garden. The children enjoyed having the responsibility of digging and planting the trees.

We also decided to plant a time capsule. Throughout the week the children were encouraged to draw pictures of themselves and who their friends are. Staff were also encouraged to draw pictures of themselves and write about their current position in the nursery. These were all put into the time capsule which was then buried in the garden as seen in the picture. Both children and staff enjoyed putting their pictures into the capsule. Also included were photos of the nursery, and of the current staff team.

We are all excited about who might find our time capsule in 100 years time!
