We're delighted that at Elvetham Heath we have managed to raise £496.70 for the charity Riding for the Disabled.
We raised the money with events throughout the last year: our summer fete, where lots of fun activities went on throughout the day and even the Parent Nursery Association (PNA) were selling cakes on the cake stall; we also had our Halloween evening where the staff, parents and children dressed up and took part in many activities around the nursery and then lastly was our Christmas Fayre where local businesses came and the staff put on many activities around the nursery.
The cheque in the picture was made with the children's help as they helped to decorate it by writing the name and copying around their hands which represents the giving and helping hand.
The cheque was presented to the Elvetham Heath PNA on Wednesday, 17th February.
