Elvetham Heath Day Nursery and Preschool is situated on a unique community development just outside Fleet, Hampshire. We offer exceptionally high standards of childcare and education for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. We are OFSTED registered and a member of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA).
Our ethos is based on the understanding that children are foremost their own educators - natural learners with ability, curiosity and imagination. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future. We believe each child deserves the best possible start in life and the support to fulfill their potential. As professionals we nurture their learning by providing the opportunity and tools to enable all our children to be happy, secure and independent individuals. Our nursery follows the government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in order to provide the assurance to parents or carers that our care and education provision will keep their children safe and support their learning. In a typical day, children can participate in creative activities, sand and water play, story time and circle time, as well as having fun outdoors. We also offer plenty of extracurricular activities here onsite.
Ofsted said 'Children are relaxed and happy within the nursery where staff effectively meet their needs. They create a safe environment and provide a wide variety of interesting activities. Children benefit from a bright, purpose built nursery which has been recently refurbished and has a wide range of suitable resources both indoors and out. Furniture and equipment is suitable for varying needs in each room, with low level furniture and ample floor space providing an enabling environment. This contributes to children's positive attitudes and good progress.'
Flexible Day Nursery and Preschool Sessions
Whether you require full time early years education or part time childcare for your child the nursery will do their upmost to accommodate your requirements.
We provide childcare from 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks per year (closed for the week between Christmas and New Year and on Bank Holidays). Children can attend our nursery or preschool for full days (8am to 6pm) or half days (8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm). Early drop-offs (7.30am) and late pick-ups (6.30pm) are available on request.
Our nursery and preschool services are fully inclusive so your child will receive meals, snacks, fresh milk and even nappies are provided. See Meals and Nutrition for further information.
